"To Whom It May Concern: Few things in life glow with lasting satisfaction like good relationships. At the same time few things bring a cascade of stress points like a geographical move. John Hermanussen is a man who unselfishly gave to my family through a relationship that mitigated many stress points in our recent move to Evergreen, Colorado. John was our realtor and much more. My family and I have crisscrossed these United States with 12 moves in 28 years. In June of 2005 we moved from Lafayette, Louisiana to Evergreen, Colorado. The extremes in culture and climate were anticipated, but not the housing market. Somewhat seasoned in the moving process, I went to the internet and began searching for a realtor. Many hours were spent reading biographies and calling realtors for phone interviews. Those hours have reaped benefits for us many, many times. As a professional, John provided a broad array of help. His technical competence was shown in sound understanding of building practices, community codes and area environmental issues. As to efficiency and work ethic, he used every available communication or research tool to give us amazing response time. More than once I received emails time-dated past midnight after he had spent most of his day with us viewing prospective homes. Beyond all this and more importantly, never have my wife and I enjoyed a realtor that genuinely cared for us like John. He asked thoughtful questions and then listened carefully to really learn more about us. Then he quietly and wisely observed us as we toured homes and different areas. In a relatively short time he knew the type home and area that would make us truly happy. And happy we are so much so we hope we never move again. Everything about our home and its location suits us perfectly. Lastly, John didn´t disappear with the signing of the contract or even the closing. He worked hard through the closing process ensuring everything was correct and continued to stay very involved as we moved in. If we needed anything our first call was to John and he always met the need or connected us with the right people who could. What more could a person ask for? John Hermanussen ?
